INCINERATION TOILETS

  • No water supply or drainage connections required

  • Simple installation

  • No waste handling, only an insignificant quantity of ash to be emptied

  • No need to supply bark, chemicals, etc.

  • Economic solution for harsh and remote (offshore) locations

There many challenges with regard to water supply, drainage solutions and infrastructure for temporary, small or remote offshore or industrial units, especially due to major costs and strict regulations related to the installation of sanitary facilities.

An incineration toilet is a toilet where the waste products, urine and excrement, are incinerated at a high temperature, leaving only an insignificant quantity of ash, about one teacup per 4 persons in one week of use.

The waste is burned in an enclosed incineration chamber, and combustion gases are expelled through a separate vent pipe. Incineration toilets constitute a total waste solution, meaning that they get rid of all the waste without drainage, outlets or other costly installation works. Moreover, the solution is odourless and hygienic.

Incineration toilets are a popular alternative for regular toilet installations in small or remote locations, whilst offering the same level of comfort as regular sanitary facilities and avoiding costly installation of water and drainage systems. Incineration toilets require little space, are simple to install, and provide a total and economic waste solution.
